Sunday 10th August: Ford Green Hall, Smallthorne to Moorland Inn
Meet at the Ford Green Hall Café from 10.30am for an 11am start. The walk is free to attend and will finish around midday. Follow a route from Smallthorne to Moorland Inn, with local historian and author Mervyn Edwards as your guide. Duration approx. 1 hour.
Notes: Visit the Ford Green Hall Museum to see the newly gifted Arthur Berry artwork titled: Old Man Seated (Black and White), 1984 on Mixed Media, measures 39cm x 52cm, which has now gone on public display in the tearoom at the much-loved heritage museum, open to the public Sun to Thurs 1pm-4pm. www.fordgreenhall.org.uk.
